Here's a closer look at the ZOEVA Caramel Melange Eyeshadow Palette for you! You get 10 eyeshadows here, 6 mattes, 3 shimmers/metallics and 1 glittery, all in a gorgeous warm toned scheme that leans coral rather than the standard orange we usually see in warm neutrals. The packaging is lightweight magnetized paper, maybe missing a mirror in my opinion, but the simple packaging is probably what helps keep the price point low so from that point of view I'm totally fine with it. What you get inside is so damn good. The fact that I love ZOEVA eyeshadows is old news if you've been following me for a while, as always these apply beautifully without fallout(!!) or patchiness. Even the mattes glide on evenly! They are well pigmented without being too soft, it's clear that they were made to be USED, not just swatched. The glittery shade called Edible Gem is, as always with glitters, crappy unless you view it as a matte. Those glitter specks always fall off when you blend the shadow. Apart from that single flaw: lovely! Especially Universal Delight, Liquid Center and Almost Burnt worked well for me.My main pro with the eyeshadow formula is that they layer really well on top of each other. You know how shadows can be beauuuutiful once applied, but when you for example try to deepen the outer part of the eye the next shadow won't adhere on top? That happens with MOST eyeshadows I feel, only a few brands manage to create formulas that actually are easy to work with in layers. In all you get high quality for a great price with this palette, €22,50 at the ZOEVA webshop. They are also available through Beautybay. Photographing metallic lettering is a betch, so here are the names for you:Wax Paper, Universal Delight, Aftertaste, 182°c, Liquid CenterAlchemy, Start Soft, Finish Sensual, Almost Burnt, Edible Gem ZOEVA Caramel Melange Eyeshadow Palette swatched on dry skin.
