Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Eye Quad Palette "Ice Tears" + makeup look

Smith & Cult recently released a line of eyeshadow palettes called Book of Eyes available in 5 different colour settings. The one I have here is called Ice Tears and is a collection of blues and silvery greys. The palettes come in a luxurious golden packaging reminiscent of their wobbly nail polish bottle caps with a mirror in the lid, four crooked pans (SHRIEK! WHYYY?) and a sponge applicator. Available for $44 a pop on the Smith & Cult website or 489 SEK at Skincity here in Sweden. See my makeup look done with it below! Pros:- Smooth and blendable formula (with some buts, see below)- Super pigmented- Well picked and logical shades in all five colour settings - Feels and looks luxurious.Cons:- The blue has problem adhering and the pale sparkly shade is a bit flaky, so they can't be applied straight from the pan onto dry skin.- Why the cheap sponge applicator in such an expensive item? Just leave it please- WHY THE CROOKED PANS??? *itches*- Because of weird pans + applicator the packaging is much larger than needed. Conclusion:A true luxe palette with some visual flaws. Worth its price if you want to treat yourself, just make sure you don't apply them bone dry, whether it is over primer, concealer or some face mist on your brush before application. Anything will work. I could easily see myself getting another one! Good job Smith & Cult. Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Eye Quad Palette in Ice Tears Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Eye Quad Palette in Ice Tears, swatched with dry fingers. I wish I had managed to capture the beauty of that sheer shade, it is a GORGEOUS topper that reflects turquoise and lavender. Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Eye Quad Palette in Ice Tears. Swatched over a light spritz of face mist on the arm for the blue and opalescent white to adhere. Applies beautifully with a little prep as you can see. Silver on the lid, blue in the crease and lower lashline, matte grey for blending and opalescent white as a topper on all high points. So sparkly! The eyeliner and mascara are also Smith & Cult. The eyeliner pen is black as heck but a bit too stiff on the lid (feels like drawing with a toothpick), the mascara on the other hand seems like a full on winner as it's thick, black and applies loads of mascara in very few swipes.  Face:• NARS Smooth & Protect Primer SPF 50• Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid - Pearl • Palina Magic CC Cream – Stockholm• Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer – Fair Neutral• MAKIASH Perfect Finish Loose Powder• Make Up Store Wonder Powder - Sahara• IsaDora Precision Brow Pen - Medium Brown (72) (for freckles)Brows:• Sigma Beauty Brow Powder Duo – Light• Anastasia Clear Brow GelEyes:• Too Faced Shadow Insurance• Ellos Eye Pencil - Black• Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Eye Quad Palette - Ice Tears• Smith & Cult B-Line Eye Pen - Still Riot• Smith & Cult Lash Dance Mascara  Lips:• NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil - Dolce Vita
