Majorelle

Today the new NABLA Cosmetics Poison Garden Palette arrived in the mail, and of course I had to dig in straight away! I will swatch and review it for you later, but for now I'm giving you a makeup look and a picture of the palette itself (see at the bottom of the post). The palette releases on November 8th.My initial thought: WHERE ARE THE GREENS?? How can you name a palette "garden" and not do a single green? And "Poison" without more than a couple truly poisonous shades? Sure the pops of colour are very pretty but we did get another palette containing 50% soft pink/gold/beiges. We need to see NABLA gamble a bit more with the colours, right? I hade a lot of trouble making the bright blue shade called Majorelle stick to my eyelids. It had quite a bit of falldown and it didn't really adhere to where I put it, so I had to pack it on with a finger and blend as little as possible to not dust it away. Definitely not the easiest blue shade I've ever used. The dark navy called Zodiac worked better though, I used that one and translucent sparkly blue Adoration for the look to tie together.
