IsaDora Active 24hrs All Day Wear Make-Up Foundation - Review, swatches & demo

Sweat proof, humidity proof, waterproof, transfer proof, color proof. Those are the claims for the new Active 24hrs All Day Wear Make-Up Foundation from IsaDora.  This foundation was created to go with an "active lifestyle" and fitness/sporting. Extra long wearing, coverage is medium, and the pigments are said to be stable and won't change on the skin over time. The finish is velvety smooth and oil free yet hydrating and elastic. A blurring "soft focus" second skin finish. Available in 6 shades, each tube contains 35ml and costs 169 SEK at for example Åhléns (where it is 149 SEK at the moment). IsaDora Active 24hrs All Day Wear Make-Up Foundation. The product comes in a hygienic vacuum pump tube. IsaDora Active 24hrs All Day Wear Make-Up Foundation in Fair (10), Light Honey (12), Sand (14), Warm Beige (16), Cognac (18), Almond (20) My thoughts? Spontaneously: CRAPPY shade range! A bit worried about the matte long wearing finish as they often look dry and textured on my skin. Happy to see the same hygienic vacuum pump on another foundation, same with the fact that it's perfume free. Application: It applies beautifully on the skin straight away, so easy and no streaking. It's quite runny for being matte which I feel helps it melt into the skin better. The finish is a true medium coverage with a velvety texture, not flat or powdery looking at all. It fills pores and gets rid of a lot of skin texture, definitely blurring. It dries down on the skin and sets into place after a while while still feeling hydrated and soft, even without powder it gets smooth enough for blushes and bronzers to apply evenly on top of it which was impressing. Wear: I have worn this both applied thin with my fingers and nothing on top as well as in full makeup looks, and in whatever way I've worn it it doesn't break down, move around or crack on my skin within a normal days wear time (no I haven't tried wearing it for 24 hours and I'm not interested haha). Most foundations settle in a line between my brows after some time but I haven't seen that happen with this. Most matte foundations tend to look great in the beginning but when they start to break down they do it in the ugliest way possible, I suppose it has to do with them being "powdery matte" (you know how they feel when you rub your fingers together with foundation on them? powdery!) and not film forming like this one is. I can't imagine this one being bad on any skin type either because of that fact. Final thoughts: This blew my current favourite matte foundation out of the water (IsaDora Natural Matt Oil-Free Foundation, they are so good at making luminous matte bases) as this has an even more skin-like finish and better wear. In my opinion this is similar to the Lumene Blur Foundation which I've loved for years and years, only this is more on the matte side and with a slightly higher coverage. It wears in the exact same flattering way on my skin. The level of coverage is so damn perfect for my taste as it doesn't look like a mask when worn alone yet it still flatters heavier makeup.  You will like it if: You are between fair and a light medium skin tone (SIGH!). You want something more on the matte side. You often find mattes looking cakey on your skin. You want a flexible product that works for both day and night. Bare skin  IsaDora Active 24hrs All Day Wear Make-Up Foundation in Fair (10) applied with a damp sponge.
