Drift

Yesterday I posted pictures of the Urban Decay Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette (blog post here), and before going out I tried it on the eyes aswell! The formula was okay to work with, I had to build the grey called Drift up quite a bit for it to show true to pan but after a little extra work it was perfect. I blended the edges with warm brown Riff which applied beautifully, no problem blending any of the shades. I started out using Weekender for the crease but that one was quite dusty and didn't adhere as well as Riff so I switched over. I will try the palette in a more colourful look soon, will be interesting to see if those shades need the same amount of extra work. On the face I used Naked Skin Shapeshifter Palette in Light Medium, a duo palette in which you get both powder and cream contour/bronzer/highlighters, one formula on each side of the palette. I used the powders this time. The contour and bronzer was great, they applied super easy and blended nicely, but the shimmery highlighter enhanced skin texture quite a bit which isn't too fun.
