Comparing two current mascara favourites

I have been switching between two mascaras lately which you may have seen if you read my product lists, I pick one or the other depending on the look I'm going for. Today we're taking a closer look at them! Which one do you prefer the look of? You find Marc Jacobs exclusively at Sephora in Sweden for 325 SEK (and they sell the mini size I have here for 150 SEK too), NYX kind of everywhere, for example KICKS for 109 SEK. Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara, NYX Cosmetics Worth The Hype Mascara  What makes them both favourites? They both perform perfectly when it comes to basic quality, no flaking or smudging with normal everyday wear, not hard to work with. They are not waterproof which I really prefer as they are much easier to remove from the lashes. Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume MascaraThe dramatic one. This one has quite a sticky texture and builds up quickly, it lengthens and above all thickens lashes. The brush is hourglass shaped and you can tell already by looking at it that it dispenses a lot of product. I wear this with smokey eyes or when I want my lashes to stand out in a makeup look, perfect for graphic 60's looks for example.NYX Cosmetics Worth The Hype MascaraThe natural one. This one glides through the lashes and just makes them look.. better. It doesn't build up on itself, it just keeps the lashes looking separated and wispy. The wand is a classic christmas tree shaped bristle brush that doesn't dispense a lot of product. A great one for natural eye looks or a less defined lash. Big bonus for great price.
